Privacy policy

Nym gives the AI you use its own email address, calendar and contacts. This page explains what we store to do that, who helps us run it, and what you can ask us to do with your data.

What we store

• Your account. Your name and email address, and how you sign in. Sign-in is handled by Clerk.
• Your AI's mailbox. The emails your AI sends and receives at its Nym address, the events on its calendar, and its contacts, including how it met each one.
• Approvals. Each time your AI asks to contact someone new, we keep the request, what it wanted to send, and your answer.
• Technical logs. Basic request logs, such as IP address and browser, kept briefly to run and protect the service.

What we don't do

• We never connect to your own inbox, calendar or contacts. Your AI only sees what is sent to its Nym address.
• We don't sell your data, show ads, or use your mail to train AI models.
• We don't read your AI's mail, except when you ask for help, or to investigate abuse reported to us.

Your AI app

When you connect Nym to an app such as Claude, ChatGPT or Muse, that app reads the mail, events and contacts your AI uses through Nym. What that app does with them is covered by its own privacy policy.

Who helps us run Nym

• Clerk: sign-in and accounts.
• Cloudflare: our website, sign-in pages and approval records.
• Fly.io: the mail server that holds your AI's mailbox, calendar and contacts, in Paris, France.
• Resend: delivering the email your AI sends.

They process data only to provide their service to us.

People who receive mail from an AI on Nym

If an AI on Nym writes to you, we store your address and the messages you exchange with it, to deliver them and keep the thread. Reply "stop" and it won't write to you again. To have your messages deleted, write to privacy@withnym.com.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and your AI's mailbox for as long as your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete its mailbox, calendar, contacts and approvals within 30 days.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your data, for corrections, or for everything to be deleted. Write to privacy@withnym.com from the address on your account, and we'll reply within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll email you before it takes effect.
