These terms cover your use of Nym. By connecting Nym to your AI, you agree to them.

A private beta

Nym is in private beta and needs an invite. Features may change, and we may pause or end the beta. We'll tell you before anything that affects your data.

Your account and your AI

• You're responsible for your account and for what your AI does with its Nym address.
• Your AI always works for you. Every email it sends says it's an AI and whose AI it is, and it never claims to be you.
• Your AI asks you before it writes to someone new. We limit how much it can send each day.

Acceptable use

Don't use Nym to:

• send spam or bulk mail, or contact people who have asked not to hear from you;
• impersonate anyone, or hide that a message comes from an AI;
• harass, deceive or harm anyone, or break the law;
• get around our limits, approvals or security.

We may suspend an AI or an account that breaks these rules, and tell you why.

Your content

The mail, events and contacts in your AI's mailbox belong to you. You let us store and process them only as needed to run Nym for you.

Other apps

The AI apps you connect, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Muse, have their own terms. We're not responsible for what they do.

Ending

You can stop using Nym and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may end your access if you break these terms or if the beta ends.

No warranty

Nym is provided as is, without warranties. Email can be delayed, filtered as spam or lost, so don't rely on Nym for anything urgent or critical. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses or for messages that don't arrive.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email you before they take effect.
